Exceeded expectations in all aspects with two exception, Whenever the water is run in the room or adjacent room there is an annoying pump motor sound and vibration. The walls are pretty thin and it's possible to hear conversation noise through the walls. Not discernable detail but clearly conversation or TV noise.

Simple, but exactly what you need. Bed and breakfast. You need to take buses (or taxis), nut that only add to the experience. We stayed with kids, and they enjoyed it.

If you're looking for a family-friendly hostel that's perfect for infants, I highly recommend staying at Hostal Aslyp 114. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed with your stay at Hostal Aslyp 114. P.s. the only "downside" could be the loudness from the street. But for us, it was not a big issue.

The hotel was immaculately clean, and the rooms were well equipped for the price - aircon, TV, hairdryer, toiletries and the best power shower I’ve ever used! The included breakfast is great, with a good selection of different foods, buffet style. Free tea and coffee (good coffee too!) was a nice touch. But best of all, the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us get around. The hotel is a little on the outskirts of the main centre, but has a bus stop right outside, and meant that we could get a decent sleep. My one only piece of feedback would be for the hotel to have a floor length mirror somewhere!

The hostal is great! Price/quality excellent. The room is standard size and bathroom is a bit bigger than usual. The beds are comfortable, everything was clean and well maintained and the interior is nice and bright. Breakfast is very nice and diverse so there is something for everyone. The location is also very good, just a few steps from the bus station, and just 5-10 minutes bus ride to the center. There is always someone at the reception and they are all incredibly warm and kind, and always helpful. Definitely staying there on my next visit to beautiful Barcelona.
