Amazing hostel. Nice staff, very clean, small but well equipped rooms, perfect location, delicious breakfast. Very good price value. Loud but not to avoid being that central. The only improvement for me would be the position of the air condition. It's blowing right on the bed and it's therefore likely you will get sick using it.

Brilliant position! I'm happy that I have chosen it. Metro is only 5 minutes away. My first room was not the best, on the 5th floor and the elevator goes only to 4th floor. So steps. The room and double bed was small, it was cold. Room 503. But then I asked to change the room and I've got 114 and it was very nice! Breakfast is very good, good choice, constantly added new portions. The only meal missing were omelette or eggs (were only boiled eggs) and sausages. But I'm fine with that :) The restaurant right next door is very very good!! Believe me and don't waste your time searching for anything else. It's the same place where the breakfast is. The prices are very fine (8-10 euro) and quality and quantity are brilliant! In the hotel there are bag lockers for free.

Since Barcelona is very overbooked and it's hard to get a nice accommodation we were lucky to stay at Hostal Fernando. The staff was very nice and helped us out with everything we wanted. Even they had a little surprise for me since it was my birthday. Thanks again. The rooms are not the biggest but clean, comfortable and everything you need for a city trip is available. Location is perfect and the breakfast was also nice. We will come again.
