Beautiful traditional building with very kind and helpful owner/staff. Also very clean and well maintained. There is a pretty and quiet courtyard. And everything interesting is close, as it is in the middle of all the interesting Barrios, most of them in walking distance. Can highly recommend.

I stayed here for 7 days during a trip across South America in a private room w/ my own bathroom. It was a comfortable experience, if a little rudimentary. The room was relatively large and had lots of light. The bed was comfortable and the place itself was quiet. Unlike some hostals I've stayed at in the past. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the flush not working on my toilet but that was fixed when I mentioned it to them. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I love to stay there. The hostel is in a great location. Perfect starting point to get to know Santiago. everyone is super friendly and helpful. I'll be visiting for the third time in a few days.
