Do not stay there! Nymphs hatched in our room during the day while we were out. When we arrived there were something that looked like sawdust underneath our bed. Upon our return on our last night, what looked like baby cockroaches was all over the bed, room and in our bags and clothes. They refused to give us a refund and instead offered us another room, which we refused because they could be in every room. In addition, the kitchen was filthy with very limited cutlery and utensils.

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel! Quiet environment, location is good, close to bars and such. Bus stop at the door, easy to catch Uber too. The person who welcomed us was very nice, he taught us the best ways to walk. It is worth it!

Bruna and the entire hostel staff welcomed us very well from the first minute! Our experience was great. For those who like the historical and bohemian side, the lapa 166 hostel has the perfect location. Furthermore, the environment is clean and organized. For travelers on duty, the beds have pillows, the rooms have air conditioning and the bathrooms have hot showers!
