A lovely location close to the metro and shops in Glória and a short walk to the beach. The hotel name given here is confusing. It is close to Santos Dumont airport for internal flights, but it's not an airport hotel. It's about 20 kilometres from the international airport.

Stayed in this Hotel during the Carnaval, Service was good, Breakfast had variety of Choices. The best is it’s close, to Flamengo it’s just a 10-15 Walk from the Hotel, Flamengo for me is the most peaceful Beach in Rio and during the Carnaval, there was a Bloco (Party) in Flamengo, in the afternoon was at the back of the Hotel, and on the next day was directly on the front of the Hotel, the Party literally came to me. In Rio you don’t need to be staying directly at the Beach prices of these hotel are over the top, Über is great, but on days like Carnaval would be a Problem, but theres the Metro, the Station Gloria is very close to the Hotel, from this Station you need 20 mins to go to Copacabana or Ipanema

The Hotel is very close and within walking distance to the metro station Gloria. The stuff is welcoming and caring. Rooms are tidy and the terrace on the roof offers an amazing view. It also comes with a gym and pool. The restaurant is very good, the food purely fresh and everything is home made. Even special food preparations are possible just ask the kind stuff.

I went for the world cup.....i can tell you that the hotel needs a serious makeover......the staff is great, that is the only thing I kept me here....also nothing else was available ..the location turned out to be the best because all the crowds were at the beaches.....this hotel is in a residential area but still on the main drag . the restaurants were better and used by normal people so the prices aren't so bad like at the beaches... I paid a lot of money for a hotel but this is what I've got because of that world cup.....the area is safe and not to close to the unfortunate slums..... Taxis and buses are available at all times because of this hotels location..... Overall a good quiet place....
