What a fantastic place! I visited Hotel Agave with a friend for three nights and have to say it exceeded my expectations. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and tasteful. The exposed brickwork added that extra charm and style. The best part for me was the pool area. It can get busy at times but to be able to immerse yourself in a fresh clean pool after a long day of sightseeing is just wonderful. You can relax with a cold beer/wine/bubbles and unwind. Just a few minutes walk from the narrow streets of old town Split where you can explore all day. Just be careful with Taxis around the old town and always get a price before the journey! We got stung going back to the airport. Other than that, a wonderful break at a beautiful residence.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. Spotlessly clean. In a perfect location in Split. The staff were helpful and attentive. Facilities were superb. Only downside to the place is that if you’re not good at directing yourself it’s down a few narrow streets and it might be hard to find off a main road

Be Aware! The hotel have a lot of rooms which are not actually at the hotel. Be sure you actually book something which is physical at the hotel site. Our room was quite far away, so to use the pool we had to walk for 15 minutes. That is close to being false advertisement. Furthermore, the room was at the very top with only a narrow staircase down - a literal death trap. On the positive side: The location is close to the city center and it was quite clean.
