Location, views were spectacular. Rooms dated and could use a bit of basic upkeep (paint). The biggest issue was the lack of screened ventilation or a/c during a warm (26C)few days. The room faced south so warmed by the sun, and while the windows and door to terrace opened, there was no screening, so that mosquitos and other bugs entered at night. The hotel provided a weak, though helpful fan. I would not return during summer, but during cooler times of the year, or maybe bring some netting for windows.

This is a review mostly about the restaurant, but the hotel absolutely gets 5 full stars as well. The rooms are spotless, luxurious, and very comfortable. The restaurant is superb. The chef makes brilliant use of locally sourced ingredients to create amazing daily menus. The veal I had melted in my mouth, and the fish my wife ordered was cooked to perfection. The cheeses were wonderful; we were in Italy the week before and the buffalo mozzarella here was even better than anything we found there. The tiramisu was outstanding as well. On top of the excellent food, the view from the balcony was stunning and the service was superb. We were even lucky enough to see a double rainbow after a brief shower! I can’t guarantee the rainbow for everyone, but it’s still a dining experience you shouldn’t miss.

I was really surprised how fantastic this place hotel is! Especially I enjoyed the spa area with a warm outside pool and big amount of different saunas! Also the food in the restaurant was extremely delicious! We really enjoyed beautiful view and atmosphere! Highly recommended!
