This was a charmed place. Beautiful inside and out. The hostess and host were great. The breakfast was home made to order and delicious. The beds were comfortable. Away from the main road so it was quiet and after a long day of getting set we were able to use their dryer to be ready for our next adventure.

I stayed in an airbnb a little further but I was able to enjoy the breakfast and the services provided by Hotel Alicia. Breakfast was very good, fast, and always served with a smile. Laundry was very clean and the reception was always there to help me with my questions and booking of my tours. The people are very kind and the place is very clean. Would definitely recommend 👌

Fantastic experience. By far the best value lodging of our trip. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, just a five minute walk from town. The room was comfortable, attractive and extremely clean. The owner, Tai, was friendly and had helpful recommendations for activities in La Fortuna. Breakfast was delicious. My family loved the friendly dog and dog-shaped towel sculpture.

We stayed here for the location to the city center. We also wanted to make sure our money was going to a local family while staying in La Fortuna. This place was perfect. It was quiet at night and peaceful in the morning. The AC was cold and the Wi-Fi strong. Having breakfast made for you each morning was a blessing. You had a few options to choose from. The young girl that made breakfast each day is a great cook. The pancakes were absolutely delicious. The parking is conveniently right in front of the building. And if you’re lucky enough you’ll be able to share your breakfast with Loki (owners pup). Please read carefully when booking as only 1 room has a refrigerator/kitchen area.

We completely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect- within easy walking distance of many restaurants in La Fortuna. We loved having breakfast there every morning- it was always delicious and filling. The rooms were very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everyone working there was so kind and helpful during our entire stay. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.
