Beautiful property, close to La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano, and the staff was fantastic. The walls were so thin. There was a loud group of people next door and we could hear their entire conversation. They kept us up at least one night. The AC was off every day during the hottest part of the day when we would come back to take a break from activities and 2-3pm. The room was always so hot and then would take a few hours to cool back down. I was not feeling great, having just had an unplanned surgery a day before, and they allowed my husband to bring breakfast to our little terrace. The staff was so accommodating. Lots of animals on the property too.

Great service and ambience. The staff is very friendly and have kept the facility clean with a great garden with a variety of flowers. We get got hot water for shower. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Eco friendly lodge with grounds beautiful. Main entry/dining area looks directly towards the volcano, beautiful sure to see it's picture perfect. Friendly professional staff. Check in is 3pm. Which is the standard time in most hotels. I had a lodge room to myself. Free WiFi that works excellent. Very comfortable bed. This room didn't ring bells and whistles but it's very clean and safe. Outdated furnishings. Water hot thank goodness and great air-conditioning. Eco friendly environment. Very beautiful grounds pleasant to walk around. Lots of day excursion's in town area which is a $5.00 US dollars away by can. They can call you a cab. Even though this is not a five star hotel/lodge its still a romantic and lovely place to be.

We stayed here when we visited the volcano, when we arrived after a 6-hour drive from San Jose our rooms weren't ready so we were told to change in the pool changing rooms so we could go out for evening meal. Slow on reception, but friendly and they did try to help bless them. Rooms were clean when we actually got in them, nice and cool with the aircon and spacious and the rooms are spaced out across the grass area. It feels very open and spacious and free. Pool was ok but quite basic. Best thing about this is the activities in the area I did zip lining in the forest, we went up the volcano, swam in the thermal river which was amazing and completely free.

We spend two nights at this hotel and were very pleased with the service, the very big room in the new part of the hotel and the place near La Fortuna. You will have a nice view on the Arenal volcano. It's a very quiet place and there is a nice lounge restaurant just in front of the hotel. We meet some wild life such monkeys and lot of birds. In the morning you will have breakfast in front of the colibris (humming-bird) playing in the flowers in front of the restaurant. There are currently new builds for extensions but the working people there pay attention to not make noise and respect the clients! We were very satisfied of our stay!
