Last Tuesday (the first day during my stay) after 2 hours of arriving someone took my backpack from the lobby and let another backpack instead of mine. Inside of it I had some electronic devices, around $7000 US. I requested them seconds after the incident to help me checking the cameras, but I just felt a huge lack of willingness to help me. Just two ladies from the staff helped me a little bit. In the end one of these ladies who helped me called the police and I had to present an official complaint and even with the police officer present they were showing resistance to show the videos, but due to the amount of money of my belongings the law forced them to give the recordings and as you might be wondering, I didn't receive either an apologize from the owner taking in consideration the amount of money. I'm very disappointed with their attitude and if I return to Chile absolutely I'll not stay there again. I highly don't recommend it. I'm so sorry for the people who work there and are doing their best. I'm not sure if I'll be able to recover my belongings or my money, but if you want to avoid a headache, please stay away. Book somewhere else.

Third time we've stayed here. The staff is mostly quite friendly. Rooms are a little dated, but pretty nice for the price. We just experienced an earthquake while in the basement, and the building seemed pretty well built as nothing seemed to crack or crumble. The breakfast is very nice and their cafe serves great food. We look forward to staying here each time we come.

Nice, smart little hotel in a very nice neighborhood. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest subway station or shopping area (about 1.5km which is not so bad but if you've been waking all day you notice it). Attentive helpful staff who speak English and Portuguese well, plus Spanish obviously. Nice little courtyard with their own small outdoor pool. Good place.
