This hotel made our one day trip to Florence the highlight of out entire visit to Italy. It is old, yet modernized and comfortable. I was shocked with the quaintness of our room when we entered, and all three of the reception staff we encountered were helpful, friendly, and made us feel like they wanted to interact with us (not always our experience). The champagne that came to our room when we were settling in was a very welcome touch.

We had a wonderful stay in Florence! The hotel was comfortable and clean. Everyone on staff was simply amazing and so helpful. The location was perfect for walking the entire city. We had a good breakfast each day and enjoyed wine on the terrace at night. (Hint: Bring your own blow dryer as the one connected to the wall wasn’t great with long hair!) We were very happy with our time in this hotel!

The staff here were fantastic - very obliging Rooms rather small but comfy, clean and serviced daily Bathroom very small with shower/bath combo The best towels we have encountered on our long trip around the World. Breakfast had a good choice of continental options Great location Plenty of places to eat close by Launderette within a 8 min walk Oh, and did I say the staff were great?

We recently stayed at the Hotel Botticelli for a family trip, booking two rooms. The service is impeccable, the food is great with breakfast included, and the beds are very comfortable. I would have rated the rooms a 5, except that the bathrooms have a plexiglass half-wall in the bathtub instead of a shower curtain or door. It makes it very difficult to get in and out of the tub, as there is a bidet near the open end, and inside the tub it's fairly sloped, making it tough to stand within the shielded part. This was our sole complaint, everything else was perfect. I can't say enough good things about the front desk folks; they always had an answer for any questions that we asked and the restaurant recommendations were great. Location of the hotel is very central to everything. Well done!

This hotel is in easy walking distance to the San Lorenzo Market, San Marco, the Hospital of Innocents, the Duomo, a myriad of good restaurants, shops, and the vibrant life of Florence's historic district. It's also located in a fine old building where one can simply sit in one of several lounges and read a book. A lovely staff who will do anything for you completes the hotel experience.
