My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The affordable prices, friendly staff, and overall pleasant atmosphere made it a truly enjoyable experience. What's great is that the price even includes breakfast, featuring delicious freshly baked croissants daily! :) The hotel's location is excellent, situated not far from the sea and the city center. The standout feature is the vintage elevator, a charming touch that's well-maintained and adds character to your journey to your floor. Additionally, there's a rooftop lounge area, although I didn't have the chance to explore it myself. Overall, I give top marks for the wonderful ambiance, prime location, attentive staff, and delightful breakfast experience. It's a solid 10 out of 10, a hidden gem that seamlessly combines affordability, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back here again!

Our stay at hotel Byakko was a wonderful experience! Above all, I want to commend the staff. Every single employee we interacted with was very welcoming, polite and professional from the moment we stepped in the door till the moment we left. They didn't even laugh at my very broken French 🤣 (just kidding, of course). Truly lovely, hard working people. The hotel itself was great, the rooms very clean, comfortable beds, and I loved the rooftop and the view. We also had breakfast here and it was fresh and delicious every day! The location of the hotel is also very convenient, about a 10-15 mins walk from the Vieux Nice and the beach, several shops and eateries nearby, a train station also a few minutes away. Yet the neighborhood is very quiet and felt very safe. 5 stars experience, over all. We know where we're staying on our next trip to Nice!

We stayed 6 nights. The location is really nice however, the bed sheets were not changed every three days as offered and the towels had stains. The bathroom is so small and it feels like there is no wall between rooms and the bathroom and room. Staff was pretty nice in general except one guy, they were helpful and positive. The breakfast is not great and quite simple. But it wasn't the worst hotel that we stayed and if we end up staying here again we will definitely choose the deluxe room instead of the standard.
