Ok so let me start with putting minds at ease. Reading the reviews here and on trip advisor I thought this hotel was a bit of a gamble. Let me clear. It’s not. I think what must of happened is that it was a bad hotel, but it’s now under new management and the rooms have all been totally refurbished and it’s now really lovely. It’s just taking time for the old reviews to get diluted with the new ones. So I was here for 2 nights during the rugby World Cup. Hotel was really clean, room was as described, and clearly recently renovated. This is a basic budget hotel, so expect no frills, but it’s exactly what you need if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a safe place to chill out and rest. Given the price, and the stated services, it’s super. Have no worries booking this place. It’s totally self serve, so you will get a code sent to you with a code to enter the hotel then a separate one for your room. This will arrive a few hours before your check in time. (mine was sent via Booking.com message platform where I booked it). Would highly recommend this place if you looking for good value during a peak time, and somewhere clean and comfortable.

As an avid traveler who values exceptional hospitality, i must express my profound disappointment with the concierge service at this hotel. My recent stay at this establishment was marred by an utterly lackluster and unprofessional concierge experience. He was unprofessional, rude and also threatening when he i asked him simple questions. It was clear to me that this individual was merely going through the motions with no passion for the job or genuine desire to enhance the guest experience.

Nice and simple hotel. The location is great, close to the train station and a few minutes on foot from the city center. Our room was a bit small and simple, but at the same time clean and equipped with everything you need. Really good hotel, particularly considering the competitive price.
