Very cute hotel near the heart of the cultural district. Short walk to many amazing restaurants, and not too far of a walk from Bella Vista (definitely try and visit this little food village). Very friendly staff, and I appreciated that they locked the front with a steel door later in the evening, which added to the comfort and feeling safe so close to the heart of everything.

Charming, vintage hotel that was once a grand, patrician home of the Zañartu family. The prices are modest and the rooms, clean and comfortable, but,definitely “no frills”. My only complaints are: 1) the breakfasts are good except the free coffee is instant. I paid for cappuccinos each day and they were delicious. 2) The bath mats are the ugliest and strangest I’ve ever seen but, they might be especially germ-resistant, or strong enough to withstand hotel laundries. There must be a reason they stock the bathrooms with them but they are hideous and skimpy, and the opposite of spa-like luxury. Otherwise, the rooms, the staff, the food, ambience, and convenient location was EXCELLENT!

Very bad hotel, not recommend at all. Very noisy, small rooms, bad service, limited bteakfast. It looks charming but not a place to rest and enjoy. We stayed one night and moved to another hotel for the following day

Rooms were cold and a small heater was definitively not enough for the room size. We thought being in the center and somewhat close to the Moneda was a good option but there is basically no good restaurants and things to do around and the surroundings look pretty unsafe. Our car was stolen a mirror the only night we parked in the street. The people at the reception desk were very nice and accommodating but the self-called manager chef was extremely rude and did not satisfy with very bad manners a simple request for a glass of milk. We will not come back for sure

Our room on the first floor was wild. Had glass double doors to the hallway and the cafe courtyard (the staff should do better making sure those exterior doors are locked). The bed had heavy fleece blankets and pillowcases (summer in Santiago) and there was a rollaway air conditioner that looked like a piece of hospital equipment. Ornate moulding, strangely arranged furniture and a tight pre-fab bathroom added to the wild ambience. Staff was friendly, breakfast was fine. They arranged excellent airport pickup/dropoff at a reasonable cost and took good care of our luggage after check out. The location was good for getting to downtown restaurants and museums. Would book here again for a night, but probably not for an extended stay...at least, not on the first floor.
