An elegant hotel in the centre of Vienna, a 10-15 minute walk from the main sights. Tram station (2) and metro 200m away. The staff is very friendly and ready to solve any problem you may have. Definitely one of the best accommodation options.

Avoid. Very poor service. Arrived, 4 rooms booked for 5 family members (cousin’s reunion). They’d merged booking into one room due to surname. Two people had to be placed at sister hotel as all rooms gone. On entering room for first time found cleaning equipment had been left. Booked for €400 for 4 nights, final bill €550. Didn’t realise this until leaving as early flight meant 4am check out. Additionally other peoples drinks placed on bill which had to be challenged but were removed. Major security issues with our rooms - keys being given to other guests, saw this repeated with other hotel users. We therefore stopped handing in our keys as requested. Safe in my room didn’t work so couldn’t secure items. There are better hotels in Vienna, cheaper prices with larger rooms and better guess facilities. Very disappointing.

Rooms are clean neat and comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect and all facilities are steps away from it. The service is extraordinary and the staff are amazing, friendly and so cooperative. They are very welcoming. I highly recommend this place for your next stay in vienna.

By far my worst hotel stay at this price range in any country, ever. The lack of amenities was immediately obvious. The basic room is far too small for two people; there is not much space to leave your stuff. Not that there is anything in the room; we had to ask for a kettle, and there is no available fridge or microwave, which is absurd for apartment-style hotel. Only a single ironing board in the whole building (but at least there is one). Staff is quite friendly and welcoming, but not all of them speak English. Reception is understaffed. Housekeeping is not great. Now for the quality of what is there. Breakfast is very mediocre; with some basic variety but low quality meats, juices and coffee. The room quality is also poor: Bed and pillows are far too thin, and after 4 nights there I have constant back and neck pain. The hotel itself is pretty, if you like rustic/cozy style buildings. It relies too much on that aspect for its rating; it is not a place that meets modern expectations. This is not a 4-star hotel; it's barely a 3-star one. If you're looking for a one-night, cozy getaway, it can fit the bill; but if you're expecting an actual, comfortable hotel, keep looking. UPDATE - This is something I have NEVER seen before in all my time in hotels. When leaving and asking for my invoice, the receptionist started to yell at me. His coworker said nothing. Absolutely, utterly and disgustingly unacceptable and unforgivable. Updating my rating down to one star. NEVER give this place any business.

If you are thinking to book a room at this hotel, you better reconsider it. Hotel is very old and obsolete, it doesn't look like a 4 star hotel. They try to repair things (for short time) rather than replace them. Because of this, a lot of things cannot be used properly: 1. The only elevator broke down twice during our 4 nights stay. The poster announcing the unavailability of the elevator was laminated, so I can assume that this is a common issue if they considered to laminate the poster. Also, the cleaning staff admitted that the elevator is broken almost every day. Please be prepared to carry your luggage on the stairs. 2. Water and juice dispenser from breakfast was broken almost every morning. First time the staff from breakfast repaired it, but it lasts only 5 minutes/2 glasses of water. After that, they put a laminated "out of order" poster on it. 3. Interaction with Thomas from reception was the worst. I am assuming that a receptionist should have certain communication/people skills but he was the exact opposite. I was trying to get an extra room from reception (simple and straight forward operation), and he lied to me about availability, he tried to rip me off (offered me a 25% higher rate, luckily I checked before accepting), he didn't let me finish my sentence and he assumed very bad things about me and my father. He apologized finally, but the interaction with him was 'out of this world'. If it's not urgent and you need assistance from reception, you better avoid Thomas and wait for another receptionist. I can continue with many more small things that are not worthy of a 4 star hotel, but I don't want to post a novel here: towel rack, toilet, room key, carpet. The only good thing it's that is close to the city center, but there are other hotels in the same area.
