I had another hotel booked but after several flight delays I got to Geneva around 11:30pm and learned my hotel doesn't allow check in after 11pm. Given the winter temperature and time of day, I looked for another hotel close by and stumbled upon Hotel Cornavin. The front desk attendant was so kind and accommodating and booked me a room immediately and even gave me a bit of a discount given how late it was. The room was clean and the proximity to the train station was very convenient.

Great hotel at the heart of a great city! Fantastic views and easy work space. Also, do not miss the Seafood Risotto at Restaurant MILAN, Rue Chaponnière 9!

Great location, right next to the train station and walking distance to a lot of good places to eat. The breakfast is very nice with a wonderful view of the city. If you plan on staying in your room all day and watch TV find another hotel because the TVs are very small but who comes to Geneva to watch TV. A lot of outlets for charging your stuff . The only issue I had was no walk in shower and the tub is very high to step into.

Great location, close to train station, trams, restaurants, cafes, takeaway outlets. Had a great corner room on the 9th floor with windows on 2 sides. Great views including that of Mount Blanc on one of our 2 days. Great views also from the breakfast room on level 8. Breakfast adequate. Extremely quiet room despite rail station etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside was absence of a walk in shower. Shower over the bath is a safety hazard.
