My husband and I stayed at this hotel in august 2022. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is very close to the shopping area and to the Duomo. It has parking service. If you are renting a car, it is important to arrive at the hotel before 7 pm because the parking garage close early. In addition, after 8 pm some streets are closed to the traffic. Therefore, I recommend to arrive before 7 pm to make sure that you are not going to worry about your vehicle and to arrive to the hotel. In regard to the rooms, the space is fine, the cleaning is also very good, and there is no noise during the night. Breakfast is very good and plenty of food! The staff is very friendly and helpful! I really recommend this hotel!! We will come back for sure!

My family stayed for three nights during the month of September 2023. This is a difficult hotel to review and recommend either way. Positives: great location; excellent, proficient and friendly staff; rooms are large and generally well equipped. Negatives: a certain “smell” (think sewage?) permeates the building and seems to be worse in some rooms; internet is very spotty, intermittent and slow (surprising for this level of hotel); air conditioning can also be “spotty” - make sure to check it before unpacking your bags! Not sure we would stay here again given there are so many other options in Florence.

The place was fantastic I went with family it was Amazing we got 2 rooms and we got a room with 2 storeys each with 2 beds( separated ) and a bathroom the reception always remembers our key number and gives it to us he’s nice and respectful the place was good it was in the middle of everything in Florence it was a great stay. Overall it was a great journey with great rooms and service but the only problem was there wasn’t an iron but we found a shop nearby.

Overall good location. Easy to get to attractions, restaurants, venues of interest (although that’s pretty much everywhere). Old-school looking hotel. Small tvs, beds feel old, creaky faucets. A lot of money spent for a very nice trip but here are issues you should be aware of: - air condition in room is horrible. Didn’t work properly and with 90- degree August heat be prepared. - you have a traditional room key which you need to leave at front desk each time you leave. I don’t have an issue with that except they didn’t tell us that the first time and person at desk upon return gave us a hard time. - security- non existent. They tell you to leave the key but there’s no way they remember what you look like considering it’s a different person, nor did they ask for our name or ID to get the key.. meaning anyone can walk in say room xxx and they would give the room key to them. - one young woman and a older night time concierge (nameless) was unpleasant. very curt when asking question as if it was imposing on their time. When checking out they didn’t have cc on file (their fault) and refused to call cab while checking out - tone and shortness to my partner was VERY off putting. Nose up at the world. Should not be working in hospitality - find another career. Other staff was friendly. Overall ok but nicer places around the area. Look elsewhere
