My recent stay at this hotel was marred by a series of unfortunate events that compelled me to share my experience. One particular aspect that stood out negatively was the baggage deposit service, which, despite a charge of 6 euros for 24 hours, proved to be unsatisfactory. I, Muru from Nigeria, entrusted the hotel with two bags in the morning, only to retrieve them in the evening and realize that my cherished shade was mysteriously missing. As disheartening as the loss of my possession was, the interaction with the manager, Mirko, compounded the disappointment. His communication skills left much to be desired, lacking the courtesy and empathy one expects when addressing customer concerns. This encounter cast a shadow over an otherwise potentially enjoyable stay. In reflecting on this experience, I am compelled to express my hope that the management takes this feedback seriously. A hotel's reputation is intricately tied to the quality of its services and the professionalism of its staff. I trust that constructive criticism will be used to enhance both the baggage services and the overall customer experience. It is my sincere wish that future guests, regardless of their origin, do not have to contend with similar disappointments, and that the management addresses these issues promptly and effectively.

Location is perfect. You save on transfer costs if you’re arriving by train, as it is a 6 minute walk to/from the hotel. All major attractions are also close. The furthest we walked was 30min to the Michelangelo Piazza. This hotel is part of a few hotels sharing a building. It is located on the 2nd floor. There is a lift available. If you are more than 2 people with large suitcases, you will need to take 2 trips as it is not big. There is a small set of stairs that you do need to go up to get to the lift. We booked the quadruple room. It is spacious enough. There is a wardrobe. The air conditioning works well. One of the single beds was very springy; not comfortable. The pillowcase had stains that looked like nosebleed stains that don’t wash out. That put me off a bit. Breakfast is very simple. There are a lot of pastries, basic bread, cereals & a coffee machine that did not always work. One morning it was spitting out milk powder & only pouring plain hot water. It was attended to by staff. There are no scrambled eggs, just hard boiled eggs. No bacon/beans, just a simple continental breakfast. One morning there was no fruit available. Staff are friendly.

We had got a room booked in this hotel thru our tour operator GT HOLIDAYS from India for two nights from 17th (sunday) to 19th Sept-23. We reached there from Venice by train at 10.30 AM. But since the check in time was 2 pm we were rudely told by the lady receptionist that it was possible to allot room at that time. We were quite shocked by her such indecent behavior. On requesting she obliged us by allowing to change our dress and use a washroom. Because of this type of reception we fell disgusted and walked down to Florence station which was just 250 mtrs to pass the time. Later on returning to hotel from our sightseeing trip in the evening we were told by the receptionist (with change of duty, there was a male receptionist at that time) the reason for the rude behavior of that lady was because she had to her do duty on Sunday which didn't like and secondly because she left her child at home/ somewhere which she also did not like. I REQUEST THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT TO SEE THAT APPROPRIATE ACTIONS ARE TAKEN IN OWN THEIR INTEREST so that receptionists behave decently with customers.

Stayed here over the Easter holidays with my six year old son. The room was comfortable and clean, the continental breakfast was delicious with different cakes each day, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is really close to Florence's main train station (Santa Maria Novella), and only a 5-10min walk from the city's historic centre. Suffice to say, we would definitely return in future!
