We arrived and the second night there is no hot water. Nobody informed us about what was happening and when they were going to fix it. We stayed 3 nights, two without hot water and no one in the face to explain what happened. a disaster. The hotel could not be working. if they cannot provide the service they should at least give an explanation. I paid for 3 nights with a private bathroom and hot water and they did not comply.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was ok! The area is quite close to München Hbf, Karlplatz and walking distance to Sendlinger Tor and Marienplatz. The hotel is on a busy street but we could not hear the noise from inside. The room was quite ample and clean. The bathroom was as well clean but it would be nice if the hotel can renovate them, specially the showers that can be more friendly with elderly people as they are a bit high. But considering hotels are still recovering for covid this can be something to think in the future! It was nice to find a friendly and respectful receptionist after ending first by mistake in the “Hotel Deutsches Theather” on the parallel street and being basically humiliated there by the receptionist. Careful to not make the same mistake as this hotel here is “Hotel Deutsches Theater Stadtzentrum” Please, do not listen to the racist reviews saying the street is unsafe because it’s full of inmigrants. I’ve lived in Munich for 3 years and passed throughout the street several times and it was fine. As in other any big city, just do not lose attention to your stuff either in that street and any other one 😉 Anyway, most pickpockets are in Marienplatz.

An older style hotel, our room (23) was renovated. But clean and comfortable with table chair & 2-seater couch and twin beds. Double glazed windows which kept out noise when closed. No A/C so windows need to be open on a hot day. Noise then an issue in a busy location. Staff were friendly & facilitated an early check-in. Complementary fresh fruit at front desk. Great central München location just 6-7 mins walk to Hbf.

There was no hot water for the entirety of my stay in the hotel (4 days), so there was no way for me to shower. The staff seemed really nice but I came back to the hotel at 12am one day and there was no one to open the reception door for me. I called the number on the door but the guy who answered said that this hotel was not on their list, so I don't even know what that was about. I thought I was going to end up sleeping on the street or something until I thought about trying to open the hotel door with my room key. I don't know if I broke the matrix but somehow I managed to open the door. No one in the staff told me that was possible ????? Anyways, it was kind of a mess, but again, the staff was sweet.
