Loved my stay at this cosy hotel. It is located close to two Metro stations and of course walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. We could also see the Eiffel Tower from our room which was an unexpected bonus. The room was small but was all my son and I needed. The room was lovely and warm with a great spacious bathroom. We enjoyed walking in the local area, we found plenty of food options, including a couple of supermarkets. I felt very safe in the vicinity of the hotel. The staff were friendly. The communication prior to our stay was exceptional, I had all the information I needed to make my arrival easy.

Very displeased. First, the location…not bad at all, just not as close to the ET as indicated on all literature. 10 minute walk? More like 25 minutes. But that wasn’t the end of the world. It was a nice pleasant walk to numerous places from the hotel. The customer service was really good. Always very helpful and friendly. Our issue was the room. We knew the rooms were going to be small. We also knew that this was an old French building, so we fully expected a lot of antiques and nostalgia. What we didn’t expect was not just old carpet, but possibly original carpet that was filthy. I don’t think they vacuum very often, nor do they clean carpets regularly. We travel with our own sheets…thank goodness because there were a few hairs in our bed. The sheets were crisp white, but we just couldn’t get past the hairs on them. The bathroom was spotless, I will admit that. Very clean. But the thick cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling. Inexcusable. We couldn’t understand the half shower door. We had to cover darn near everything with towels. A half shower door??? Made no sense. With that being said the shower pressure and heat…amazing. That’s about the only thing invigorating about the room. Taking a shower. Always nice. When we left each day, we had to leave a window open, otherwise the odor that we’d come back to wasn’t very pleasant. Old, dank and musty. The mattress was hard. Very hard. My hips and back could barely take it at night. I think the old building and the nostalgia was a nice French touch, but just because something is old doesn’t mean is shouldn’t be cleaned and updated as needed. We made the best of it, I mean we were in Paris, but all in all, the accommodations really need a lot of work. I mean a LOT!

I have not stayed at your hotel but have reserved a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I am surprising my husband on out 30th wedding anniversary. I would like to know if I can arrange a dinner on our balcony the night of our anniversary as an extra spracial surprise. If someone from the hotel can reach out, that would be great

Just came back from Paris 3 days ago, I can't express how much I was delighted in staying at Duquesne A+ my daughter and I stood 6 days. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Breakfast was a spread of different varieties of choices ,we loved it 😋 delicious. I read all different kinds of reviews before leaving to Paris., basically all the rooms in all the hotels are small. As I mentioned the Hotel is right in the heart of Paris, close to all the cafes, 12 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, and the famous Rue Cler market street. Thank you Ms. Melanie for all your help.

If I could I would give a 0 star to this experience. The rooms does not meet the expectations at all. The pictures are totally off. After I saw the room I asked the lady at the front desk to cancel which they were very unprofessional and disrespectful. I did not book the room that she said she upgraded me for it. You can barely walk with the luggage including the elevator imagine the size of the bathroom. Imagine you just arrived in Paris after a 12 hours plane ride and you got treated with no respect at all. I was exhausted from my trip and the two girls were working at the front desk they are super rude. Any hotel in my entire life that does not meet the description of the rooms understands. The booking agent called them when I was still sitting at the hotel and they also screamed at him. I got charged on my card without my consent. I should looked at the rooms first but I was super tired. Owners be aware of your employees and make sure they act professionally with customers.
