Nice little hotel but could use a couple of things to make it a bit better. The beds were pretty firm but it was fine, the pillows could use an upgrade for sure. It's right next to a main road so can be noisy, although we were there over new years so it was extra loud. Pretty thin walls, we could hear our neighbors, especially the lady next door FaceTimeing at 6am... ( not the hotels fault by any means) overall good. The family that runs it we're very nice, would stay again

This hotel is amazing!!! The son, Josue, and the rest of his family are such kind and generous people. They really care about their guests and experiencing the gem that La Fortuna is!! The location is perfect and amenities are great too. I loved my stay here so much and I will always remember it!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Pura Vidad es verdad usted quedas aqui!!!!

For the price, this is a really good place to be! Its in the middle of the town so its easy to walk ever where. The breakfast was included which was at the restaurant just across the street which had delicious meals. The hot spring is not in the facility, but seems like they had connections with 2-3 different hot spring area we can choose to go to anytime. This is a family owned place and the boys that were at the reception were super nice and friendly. They noticed our car after we came back from a hike and immediately helped out with parking. (which was awesome since the street could get busy). Yes, the building and the furnitures seems old and out dated, but overall our stay was very comfortable. Would recommend for sure :)

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The laundry service was very efficient and our clothes were very clean and fresh afterwards. The breakfast options were quite good and we were able to eat early (6:30) before leaving for our day trips. However, we did not feel comfortable during our stay and in our room. The room was quite humid , the mattress was very old with the wire poking into your body. All textiles had stains all over and we barely slept during our three nights there. We planned a lot of activities during our stay there and were out a lot , which was fine but if you want a place to rest this is not the one.
