Very central, you can reach the very center in 10mn maximum . The room was basics! Nothing special! The breakfast was catastrophic! We made a mistake to have 7 breakfast! You will get boring cheese, low quality ham and salami, you can get boiled eggs, bread (you can grill), cake (industrial and very sweet), bad croissants, everything was so sweet unfortunately. I love to drink tea but the water from the machine was lukewarm so the tea didn't really have a good taste. The yougurht tasted funny. But all the people who work in here are so friendly! Only the breakfast is not healthy and not good...

How to rate my stay?? First, we stayed in Room 107 and at midnight, we saw our first bed bug … then another. We stripped the bed and saw no others. They were living behind the fake headboard on the wall. We captured 2 in plastic bags and took them to the front desk. The young man on duty was horrified … there’s no faking that!! The hotel was full so he immediately got on the phone and found us a room down the street at a comparable hotel (it was 12:30am by this time). They took care of every detail with the other hotel. We had other family in the Galileo so we were invited back for breakfast each morning. Not every hotel management can control how bed bugs get into their hotel, but they can control how they react to it. They went out of their way to fund us alternate accommodations and took care of every detail with the other hotel. That’s very commendable. I read previous reviews and saw no mention of bed bugs and our other family in the hotel had no issues. Just room 107 in early July 2023.

This is not good hotel, certainly not 3 stars. The room was very warm (25 celcius) with no AC. Opening the window was not an option at night as the road was very noisy, people shouting at each other etc. Thus one can choose between not sleeping due to heat or noise! Also management only allows one access card per room which is needed for the lights. As a result when I had different schedules than my wife, I might be home early sitting in the dark waiting for a card to return. Such a stupid policy really. Other problems, the walls were partially painted (like someone quit 3/4 way through), the hair dryer doesn’t work. Only nice things I can say were proximity to city centre and front door staff found a fan when I came to inquire about switching rooms (they couldn’t) due to heat at 3:30am. Avoid this hotel!
