A HOTEL RUN BY THE TURKISH-KURDISH MAFIA..PASSPORTS ARE CONFISCATED UPON ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL AND ARE NOT RETURNED UNTIL DEPARTURE. THEY ARE KEPT IN AN UNSAFE PLACE.. THE SERVICE AND CLEANLINESS ARE POOR.. THE PRICES ARE VERY HIGH WHEN COMPARED TO NEIGHBORING HOTELS. WE DO NOT ADVICE ANYONE TO STAY IN THIS DANGEROUS HOTEL

Worst experience bad customer service in this hotel i realise if you are not local or your own kind don't go there especially you're tourist i just don't wish to anyone to go through what i went in this hotel. Disgusting pillow got stain of human waste the towels not good quality some of them hot holes and dirty black marks i sharing some photos i took also hygienic is bad one of the guest show me some insects skin bits he from the bed he was sleeping. When i mentioned all this issues to the management team they were not taking things seriously like don't care and of course the guy name farhad or farhan is rude he got a nephew called imran he try charging me more money while is uncle was asking the correct fee unbelievable.

Amazing hospitality and would definitely consider going back to the hotel again if I were to go to Istanbul again. Also the staff are very helpful, breakfast is delicious and is very close to the touristic areas of Istanbul.

This Grand Umit hotel is a deceiving hotel. They changed their price on me when I checked out. They are thieves. Please don’t trust them. They also never change the bed sheets. They will give you stained towels. Their hotel rooms are disgusting. They just do cleaning in the hotel lobby so they want you to think their hotels are clean. I would’ve given them 0 stars if I could. Please stay away from that place.
