A really nice place that I have been happy to return to again and again! It’s in Thamel (the tourist area) but tucked away with a lovely outside area featuring wood furniture, lush plants, and gorgeous art. There’s a school close by so the noise from children is only during the day and it’s quiet at night. The staff are attentive and kind. I particularly enjoyed speaking with Parlad who is also a trekking guide! Clean rooms for a good price and tasty dhal bhat (Nepali dish). I’d come here just for the restaurant but also to stay in their rooms.

Probably the best hotel (out of three) we stayed at in Kathmandu. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean, shower was perfectly hot and they left lots of little useful things like soap, shampoo and fresh towels, which isn’t always the case here. There’s a lovely big common area, and on Fridays they do pizza night even putting out some free side dishes for anyone to enjoy. It’s just off some of the busy streets but immediately feels so much quieter. Will definitely come back if we’re in Kathmandu again

A great little budget hotel on the edge of Thamel, staff are friendly. Food is good. It's a great place to plan your trek or excursions across the rest of Nepal. The owner also runs Nepal Mountain Trekkers which has excellent reviews as one of the best trekking / tour agencies in Kathmandu. Hidden in a small backstreet is a hidden green gem for the savvy adventure traveller
