The hotel is in a great location and is relatively updated but what truly sets Hotel Indigo apart is the service. I checked in slightly early on a Friday and Harmony at the front desk, went out of their way to take care of me and make sure I had everything I needed. As a side note for future guests, they mentioned that you cannot use food and beverage credits on the day you check out. Not a huge deal but I could see it being frustrating if they forget to tell you that at check-in.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this hotel. A few years ago, my stay was enjoyable, but the current experience is far from it. The initial booking had undisclosed fees, including a $25 extra charge and a non-refundable $75 per night fee. Parking wasn't mentioned as excluded, and the rooftop bar is closed, all topped with unexpected noise and hidden fees. I doubt the promised refund will materialize. Additionally, an older staff member on Sunday morning was exceptionally rude. I won't be returning to this hotel.

*Did not stay* First hotel I have ever had refuse a refund 1hour after booking when my car broke down. Have fun with the $200 dollars, zero integrity, hiding behind covid based cancellation policy. I will purposefully avoid this hotel and any affiliates for the foreseeable future. Thanks for the canned response blaming priceline. The zero integrity action would be blaming a decision on another party. They contacted you as did I and you refused the refund. You did not provide any service. Enjoy the chargeback, in no universe is it acceptable to take someone’s money and render zero service.

It seems more and more that hotel status is not recognized and makes almost no difference. That is absolutely not the case with the Hotel Indigo San Diego. I checked in early and was immediately given a room and an upgrade to a studio suite. The room was fantastic and had great views. The breakfast was also great! Fabulous service and great food both days we ate breakfast there . This is a wonderful hotel with a fabulous location and I could not be happier with my 2-day stay there.

This hotel located within Gaslamp Quarter with plenty of restaurants, bars or even 7-11 and grocery outlet are nearby. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean. The 2 queen beds are big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teens. The baseball stadium can be reached by 5-10 minutes walking. Overall it’s a nice place to stay. Notes: 1. Hotel valet parking is $58/ day. 2. There’s an extra charge $25/ day for amenities fee. But you will get $10 credit daily for candies/ cookies/ chips / banana / apple etc and 2 free bottles water and coffee per day. 3. Special thank you for Harmony.
