The Le Baldinger is indded a Boutique Hotel and but in the good sense of it on all aspects. Its located right down town and very eaay accessible and parking locations near by. We were really astonished at how well the old residential building was converted to a hotel. The old floor, with it's charming creaking, mixed with modern remodeled walls, stairs and decor creates a very unique charm. The rooms have been upgraded with modern bathroom facilities. Bed was very comfortable as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have their own Restaurant, Cafe and Bar in the same yard. All very charming. Only pity was that at the breakfast, they opted for a fully automatic coffee maker (espresso, Cappuccino, etc) instead of using their gorgeous espresso machine, which is only decoration it seems.

The location of the hotel is very central and very convenient for tourists to walk to the main attractions in the Bamberg city. Hotel staff is also very friendly. The inconvenience of the hotel is that from certain hours in the evenings into the night, the main reception is closed and only contactable through the Tablet in the rooms..but we had trouble getting online with the tablet and luckily it wasn't an emergency so all was OK. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. No aircon so quite hot in summer but have given feedback and perhaps fans can be installed to ventilate the rooms.
