This hotel is quite dated, but is one of the nicer hotels in the area compared to how the residents of the area live. Unfortunately they are not given good accommodations and this made me grateful for what I did experience at this hotel. They are renovating the pool, so next year they will have a pool bar which will be nice. Had a massage here and that was 5-star. During our massage, we heard monkeys! It was so cool! Also, did the hike on the premise, which was more rugged than any other hikes I’d done. It was really nice. The reason for the lower rating is because the service was subpar. They didn’t answer our room service calls after 8pm, which we found odd. Make sure to have cash to leave tips. Room was clean. I would say 3.5 overall. for rating.

Really nice bungalow and the service was excellent in every aspect, the reception, the breakfast and the cleaning. It had everything we could have wanted. The pool was perfect and the hot jacuzzi an amazing extra that we didn't count on. We had a rental car to go to the town and activities which was good since it is a distance from the resort to the town

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved every aspect of it. The rooms are clean, spacious and the views are breath taking. Karla at the front desk brought us chocolate coated strawberries for our honeymoon, the breakfasts were organic and super delicious with the mountain view. Thanks so much for the amazing experince Lomas Team, you are the best.

Unique cabin style resort on walking trails. Great location, very private with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were emaculately clean, restaurants had a very good selection of items, and a huge buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room. The cabin has large bathrooms with 6' x 6' walk in shower covered front and back patios and AC.

Great rooms, service, and location. Great breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms with nice showers. While I was here the internet did not work in my room so I had to go to reception/the bar to get good service but once i was there the internet was super fast. Overall, this is a great and safe place to stay. If you are sensitive to the noise of the rain or bugs bring earbuds. Amazingly cool AC as well. Overall, would mostly recommend but the wifi struggle is a big deal especially for those travelling trying to let their loved ones know that they are safe back at home.
