We had a fantastic time at Casa Luna! First, the receptionist who's there in the evenings - both when we checked in and paid the bill - is so nice and professional! I should have asked her name to make the message more personal but THANK YOU! Everybody else in the hotel, restaurant and spa staff is also incredibly courteous and professional. We booked our excursions with the hotel via WhatsApp in advance and everything worked perfectly. The room was comfortable, quiet and the shower powerful. The breakfast was lovely, many high quality options. The same restaurant also serves excellent lunches and dinners. The pool area was gorgeous, also featuring a warm water jacuzzi. We also had some treatments in the spa, wonderful, the treatment room had an open view into the lush garden with its natural sounds. Last but not least: we had to leave very early (5:30am pickup) and the receptionist took a note of it upon our arrival and got us breakfast boxes to go. It did not even occur to me to ask.

I had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Casa Luna while on a solo vacation. Rachel and Melvin were very hospitable, accommodating and helpful. My room was very neat and clean. The spa service hands down offers one of the best massages and facials I have had in a while with an amazing ambiance situated by a river, combined with the sound of nature making the treatment a memorable and relaxing and experience. I would come back!

We went to the spa 9 years ago and came back to Costa Rica this year and had to return because of our fond memories. It's a wonderful hotel with the best spa (couples massage is fantastic!)! The front desk is so kind and attentive, and very helpful in organizing tours and suggesting best options. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Room was great. Plenty large enough, a/c and refrigerator included. Randal at the front desk was most helpful and informative. Well located with lots to do in the La Fortuna area. We used the laundry service as they promised to have our clothes back by the next day. We instead received them the same day! They were clean and professionally folded for a price we found reasonable. Breakfast was included each day and there were a few options available as opposed to a buffet. We also ate dinner one night and the food was well prepared and full of flavor. The location has a hiking trail at the back of the property which is definitely worth the 30 minutes or so it takes to navigate. And then there's the spa. My wife and I got a massage and found it to be one of the most enjoyable we've ever received. (we've each experienced several hundred over the years) The room was open air, it was after sundown, and it was raining. The sound of the rain hitting the roof as well as coming through the trees 5 feet away just added to the experience. Francis and Maddy (I hope I got the spelling right) we kind and experienced. Very happy with everything we experienced at Casa Luna.

Great hotel, with a luxury feel at a reasonable cost. The rooms are well furnished, and have a phenomenal view of the volcano (on a clear day, which is rare!) The overall setting of the hotel is really nice, with landscaped grass. We saw so many unusual animals and plants throughout! A paradise if you are into nature. Melvin at the front desk was really helpful in booking our tours, despite us being as last minute as possible. Finally, the spa is an amazing addition- set in the open, you get a massage to the sounds of the actual rainforest. The couples honeymoon massage uses actual chocolate, which is really cool. Madday and Francis were amazing, one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had
