We had 7 nights at Hotel Ambit, location was perfect for us, staff were amazing and helpful with ideas of spots to visit. Rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was varied and always fresh and tasty. A nice lounge and outdoor area you could use in the evenings if you wanted too. Would highly recommend!

Very nice rooms for a 4 star hotel. And a nice level one seating area and outside area where you can relax and have a drink. They leave drinks in the breakfast area every evening from 6pm until late, which are available to purchase at a great price. Nice way to finish your evening before bed. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is well located in central Barcelona. Some very nice eateries around the area too, if you do a bit of searching. (Boro Bar, Mussol on Casp) All and all a very reasonable place and well looked after.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. They have no loyalty to their customers or any willingness to help. The hotel says nonrefundable but it says nothing about changes. I had an emergency and I tried to adjust the dates months in advance and I was refused many times even after they originally promised they would help to adjust for another time. Terrible company terrible hotel and terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed

I stayed for 3 nights, but I think Asians should not stay. Good location, spacious room. The staff was also kind. However, even though it was a non-smoking room, there was a cigarette butt in the closet on the last day. Of course we don't smoke and we didn't on the 1st or 2nd night. I can only think that the room cleaning staff put it on purpose on the last day of stay. We signed a non-smoking sign in the room when we checked in. I can only assume it was put there to trap us. Luckily we were able to notice it and dispose of it, otherwise we would have been fined. The room was well used. When I think about why they did this, it's because we are Asians. I felt really sad.

The hotel was very modern and very clean. The staff is very friendly and will help point you in the direction of anything you may be looking for. The location in regards to the city is great, however our balcony overlooked a school and from 8AM to 9PM there were constantly kids screaming. It was MADDENING. A great hotel, but I won't ever stay here again. I couldn't relax in my room, couldn't enjoy the balcony and didn't even want to enjoy the time and effort they put in to making the terrace welcoming.
