I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Kyoto train station and bus stops. I loved how convenient it was to find meals and do some shopping, thanks to its proximity to the department store. While the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained. A great choice for anyone visiting Kyoto!

Staff was very polite and helpful. The decor is dated and the bathroom was not the cleanest. There were some odd stains or something in the shower. Upon arrival, staff read my hotel room out loud, which for a female traveler (or any traveler really) is a safety issue. It is across the street from the station which is very convenient. Beds were clean and comfy. I’m not sure if I’d stay here again, unless they updated it and educated staff on not announcing room numbers. They also have amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste and hairbrushes out buffet style for you to pick in front of other people. I don’t particularly care for this..

Staff were quite polite and nice, however the moment I checked in every night I wouldn't stop sneezing due to their ventilation or dust issue. I had to wear 2 facial masks to stop sneezing even to bed. Nvr happened to me at any other hotels in Japan. Pretty old hotel with a slightly old toilet however they have tried their best to keep it clean and tidy. Just opposite the train station and with many restaurants connecting the hotel and train station. Overall I feel that the hotel is acceptable just that some old amenities will need to be replaced over time.

We stayed here in June 2023 and I must say this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The location is across the street from Kyoto Station, and not only trains but also buses and subway are right here. The staff was extremely helpful with the room, laundry, and receiving our bags from a Tokyo hotel. Front office staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed and large. Tokyo Tower is steps away and there is a good breakfast restaurant across the street. Highly recommended.
