We chose this hotel in Bergen for several reasons- location, price, and decor. We were very happy with our selection! First, the hotel is located perfectly in the center of the downtown area, with tons of attractions, stores, and restaurants nearby. It’s only about a 10 minute walk from the central train station, and about two minutes walk from the airport light rail shuttle stop. Second, the staff is pretty amazing. They were very responsive when I informed them of my wife’s birthday, and helped me to pick out a special room and get some flowers for her, too. They were very friendly and helpful as “local guides”, answering many of our questions about the area. Our room was large and perfectly clean, with a nice seating area and a big comfortable bed. We liked the heated bathroom floor, too. The breakfast was also very good every morning. We liked the beautiful lobby, and they had a nice bar, beer on tap, and coffee drinks, as well as some snacks. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends!

Hotel is in good location but I found that transport is an issue during winter. There is no street access to the hotel. The taxi stopped 30 metres from the hotel door and we had to drag our bags through the snow. When leaving we could not get a taxi to pick us up and had to pull our cases to a taxi rank 100 metres away.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Bergen, not to far from the fishing market. It is a medium size hotel, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and modern. We had also a seating space but not with a great view. In the room there is also a very good coffee/tea station which is very well equipped. The staff at the reception was friendly, polite and helpful. The bar/reception is also very cozy. The breakfast room is pretty small with limited space therefore the breakfast buffet is not one of the best but you can see that they try to do their best to give an acceptable choice.
