Nestled in a renovated historic building, this cozy hotel exudes charm with its stylish old staircase. The rooms, though compact, provide a comfortable stay despite slightly dated furnishings – a trade-off that aligns with the reasonable room rates. Conveniently located near multiple train stations, including Line 4 connecting to numerous attractions, the hotel's accessibility is a notable advantage. However, the absence of US-compatible power plugs proves a slight inconvenience. Adjacent to the hotel is a fresh market offering a diverse array of food options, though I observed that the prices were somewhat higher than expected.

This is a wonderful hotel located near a metro stop and many eating places. Not touristy, but near tourist locations! Very friendly front desk staff, and clean rooms. Quiet at night, with quaint views. There is a market with local foods and goods a stones throw away from the front door and an amazing restaurant called La Liberté near by with 5$ rosé for happy hour! This is an easy choice to make for a hotel, as two women mom and daughter traveling alone we felt very safe.

I enjoyed my stay here! The hotel was clean, the staff was nice, and the location was perfect. It was only a 3-minutes walk to two different train stations where it took me about 15-30 minutes to get to the tourist sights in Paris. There’s also a lot of restaurants and a supermarket close by too.

We had a reservation for 2 nights. The night we checked in we noticed that the A/C was not working properly. We we're already tired from all the traveling and almost got no sleep from the heat in the room. We let the staff know the next morning and they said that they would look into it. When we got back at night we noticed that the A/C was still not functioning properly and the heat was worst. We went back to reception and let them know. They did not offer any solutions like moving us to another room or offering at least a fan. We had to open the windows which did not help much as there was a lot of noise throughout the night due to some work outside(it seemed). We booked this room to have a place to rest and could not even do that. The next morning when we checked out of our room we were still asked to pay the remaining of the reservation. We complained about the A/C and they only gave us a discount of 20 euros. This discount does not do anything for us. They said that the A/C was going to get fixed this day but by this time we were leaving so this would not fixed our horrible experience staying here. We had horrible sleep and we were tired during all of our daily activities since we could not rest which really affected our whole stay in Paris. Hope they do better next time for their customers.

A lovely, minimal-frills, smaller hotel, very close to the Gare Montparnasse (but not overly close). My husband and I stayed for 5 nights: 1 more than planned (our return flight got cancelled), but luckily we could stay another night in the same pretty room with a balcony and bathtub. Immaculately clean, which counts the most for me when travelling. But the staff is friendly and only one concierge seemed reluctant to meet our requests (more paper cups, or sparking water even at our expense); he's the only reason why I can't give 5 stars for service. This hotel is also pro-Ukraine and has a fascinating, fantastic history of prior guests, including artists and political philosophers. Can be noisy with maintenance and thin walls, but it's easy to adjust. Fantastic AC during the September heatwave. We hope to stay here again, and many times. Highly recommend.
