Staff were very friendly and helpful but our room smelled like sewer most of the time. There was a large opening where a window must have been at one time that is now covered with plexiglass half way so room is basically open to hallway. Only a shudder to close, not very secure. Breakfast was good.

I booked two nights at this hotel and it was a total disaster. They mixed up my reservation and then wanted to charge me extra for a night after they mixed it up. They provided no solutions and also put me in a different room from what I booked. It was impossible to communicate with guy from reception, he was not helpful at all and did not speak English or Spanish, so it was super hard to have a conversation. Ended up going to a different hotel.

Very noisy, uncomfortable beds, dirty bathroom (I had unpleasant experience of touching glaze under the shower and it was disgusting). Breakfast starts at 8 o'clock! Terrible when you are traveling for business. However, service agreed to prepare it earlier as there was a lot of people in the hotel complaining about late breakfast at the time. Close to La Rambla but you can experience homeless people in front of the hotel. I'm not a picky person but I strongly recommend to avoid this place. I give an extra star for preparing early breakfast.

In fact it's a very interesting Hotel, the Clerk Usman was very friendly and helpful, the inner court justice just like the pics. The room was , let's say "basic" the bed was good, it was clean. But loud, it was LOUD.. my wife is a light sleeper, for her it was hell, I sleep during an atomic explosion... so, for people like me, a nice place, if you don't like a lot of noise during the whole night, don't stay here.

My experience in this hotel was bad. The blonde guy who was the receptionist was little bit rude although he didn't say anything but through his actions we got that vibes. However, the room was dirty too, it seemed like that we entered in a haunted house . The rooms need a reconstruction. If an individual bagpacker has to spend a few nights here then it's fine but, for a couple I wouldn't recommend this . I won't be returning at the same hotel if I ever need to visit Barcelona again. The best part of this hotel for me was the breakfast part.
