Room is bigger than I thought, available for parking, service is good, breakfast is not bad… overall is reasonable price and easy to to walk to the train station.

It's located on Tamsui central district, walking distance to train station. Personally, I like the balcony which allows me to breathe some fresh air from outside.

Pros: The hotel is close to the MRT station and waterfront. You can find a row of restaurants across the hotel and also walk to a small night market that's closer to the MRT station. The room we got was clean (except for the bathroom exhaust). Some staff members speak English and were willing to switch when our Chinese ran out. Cons: The room lacks insulation, particularly because of the floor-to-ceiling glass door leading to the balcony. We tried using the AC to offset the cold but pressing the controls didn't seem to change the temperature. The draft from the vent actually made the room feel colder so we just turned the AC off. We requested a portable heating device but the hotel didn't have any. Front desk 's main suggestion was to turn the AC off. We survived Dec. 31st, possibly the coldest night of the year, by requesting extra blankets from housekeeping and wearing our outerwear to bed.

Today (6th May 2019)Day time Receptionist very rude and not friendly. (Young man who wearing spec with black suit) We left our luggage at lobby corner and wanted to go up for breakfast, he told us cannot put there as if missing he won’t take responsibility ask us to move away. We saw other China tourists luggages put there but he never make noise. Been riding around Taiwan never had such thing before but only today.

This is a old style hotel situated near by the MRT station in Tamsui, with a lot of senior and well experienced, well trained staff over the reception and dining hall. The hotel also has a gym which equipped with treadmills, multi-function weight training apparatus, warm and cold water SPA at the 4th floor. I would give a high rating and highly recommend for holiday accommodation.
