Excellent value for money, there was a large selection at the self service buffet breakfast, hot & cold selection. Rooms are a good size, clean with daily room domestic that cleans your room, changes towels etc. Tram stop opposite the hotel so quick easy access to the old town, new town and castle area. Plenty of places to eat and have a beer very near the Residence. Bring ear muffs just in case you get a front facing room as the trams run every few minutes. We would definitely come back to this place and probably will the next time we visit this beautiful city.

I love these kinds of small hotels that have everything you need without being part of a big chain. Everything was great, I really enjoyed my stay, I was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious (I am vegetarian and was able to eat very well). Situated in a lovely part of the city, quiet but still close to shops and the center.

The radiator in the bathroom, the two first days, was out of order and it was like an icebox The radiator in the room was not always on, it was automatically turned off every two hours, and you had to turn it on manually (this could not be done during the night). And all that with an outside temperature of 0 degrees cesium.

Interior and bathrooms looks like from sovet union. We had VIP the most expensive expensive room. Beds were pretty hard and nothing special. Positive thing we had a balcony. Breakfast were interesting. There was like soup and things people eat at lunch or dinner from four nights we stayed here only in two we had some scrambled eggs or something like that ,but in other mornings we had interesting choices more like only bread sandwiches and that’s it.
