        This is a quirky place to stay the rooms are very comfortable modern spotlessly clean with lovely amenities it may feel a little claustrophobic for some as the windows had bars and the roof was curved being a former prison but we loved our stay and would definitely recommend visiting if you are looking for something different. The staff were amazing from the front desk to the cleaners and breakfast restaurant/bar staff. The sauna was lovely and there was a decent gym with treadmill and eccliptical machine. It is a lovely short walk to the town centre and about lovely 10 minute walk to the outlet for shopping. The breakfast was delicious.

        I’ve stayed here twice now and had the same room both times. The room is very nice and spacious. The check in and welcome was good. Breakfast was a bit of a let down this time though. Service was very slow and my Eggs Benedict was served cold and I didn’t have time to send it back for another. The evening bar service was good and the guy behind the bar was good for a chat. Great location for visiting the outlet shopping centre nearby too. It’s only a few minutes walk. Overall a good place to stay.

        Great value for money in terms of comfort and hotel service, cool and unusual ambiance. The restaurant is amazing and totally worth a Michelin star. The only thing to complain about is the service at breakfast: it was somewhat disorganized and hectic. We had to ask several times for coffee and repeat what we wanted to three different stuff members before we got what we needed.

        There is a gap between bed and where headboard supposed to be so, my pillow keeps sliding backwards. Staff are good .
