We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Secreto La Fortuna! We were greeted by a warm welcome by the team, who were always available to help and were extremely friendly. Our room was spacious and modern. Each room has its own covered porch area with seats and a table. The best and our favourite part is the tropical garden, the volcano view and the pool area - OMG so beautiful and relaxing! The location is also excellent - you are right in the centre minutes away from all the bars and restaurants yet on a very quite lovely road

A Beautiful oasis near the middle of the town. Sadly we only stayed one night at this hotel, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. With its delightful garden full of birds, where better to wake to enjoy the view of Arenal volcano (if the clouds lift!) and a tasty breakfast? Why pay more when you find super-helpful staff and comfortable beds here? And we didn’t even have time to try the pool ..

Great place to spend a couple of days in La Fortuna. We had a superior room on the 2nd level, which had stunning views and was very well equipped: great beds, good airconditioning and just those birds in the morning.! We loved the pool. Great staff and lovely breakfast (6:45-8:45am), with fresh fruits, eggs, bacon and pancakes.

Book this hotel! The rooms are clean, the garden/property is beautiful, the staff is excellent, and the typical rice, beans, and plantains was great. Location is excellent as well because you’re only a few blocks away from the main street and away from the loud hustle and bustle of the town. There’s also hummingbirds on the property and I also saw an iguana! I look forward to coming back. You can also ask to turn the jets on for the pool as well.
