Excellent location and such a beautiful building. Historic buildings such as these deserve to be lauded. The fireplace bar and Stella restaurant are wonderful. The bar is dark and cozy and features a live jazz pianist. You feel like you’ve transcended time back to when people spent hours conversing about life and books. Beds were comfortable and we had a coffeemaker, phone, and hair dryer in the room. There is a large fitness center and a desktop computer in the lower lobby. The only reason for the 4 stars is the surprise $25 facility fee upon checkout. It was explained that this is for the fitness center, the coffeemaker etc. Regardless of whether or not you’ve used these services. Better to include that in the cost so when we book online it’s more transparent. This felt a little sneaky.

The front desk staff were so nice and accommodating. Excellent service from the valets. The restaurant was quaint and drinks were great. The location was so convenient for visiting my husband at the hospital. Just a half block away. We also enjoyed burgers from 206 Burger. Delicious!! Our room was just fine and bed and bedding very comfortable. I will definitely stay again. I really appreciated the 24-hour valet service.

Very comfortable, updated room with plenty of space at a very affordable rate. The Sorrento has a wonderful, boutique, vintage feel and the staff are very helpful, friendly, & professional. The location worked beautifully for me — walking distance to so many cafe’s and friends’ places. I look forward to future stays. Compliments!

I love staying at the Sorrento for my forays into Seattle. Conveniently located (central), boutique charm, and the rooms are super comfortable. Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful. And the food is incredible—some of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Fresh, tasty, and unique. I love my experiences at the Sorrento and highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Can't say enough good things about the Sorrento. This is a beautiful luxury hotel that is stunning from the minute you walk in the front door.. Beautifully maintained wood furnishing with just a simple classy feeling. Rooms are big and roomy with all the small extras that make it a wonderful stay. Front desk staff is extremely professional and helpful. I would have rated Service 5 stars except we had a very unusual bad experience with one of the employees that I am sure has been corrected. When we want to stay in Seattle in a classy hotel, the Sorrento is always our first choice.
