Overall, I would recommend this hotel with some caveats. The hotel is located in the Altstadt (Old Town) area of Duesseldorf, which made it a great base for waking to transportation, the Ko, and historical sites. This area is full of bars, restaurants, shopping, and nightclubs. Depending on where your room is located in this hotel, you will hear the thumping of the music until the wee hours of the morning. As you face the exterior, the club is to the left. Also, the front desk is not manned 24 hours, so do not forget your key card, or you cannot enter the front door after 11pm and there is no-one to call. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

We booked multiple rooms for above average rate, since it was busy that weekend. When I came at the reception the guy at the reception said we didn't pay yet with the creditcard. So I paid with my normal bankcard. Later we found out we actually paid already with the creditcard through booking.com. And a couple days after our stay money was taken from our creditcard again (second time) and returned (one time). We are still waiting to receive our money back. We paid 3 times for the same booking. We are waiting to get our money back. Hope they will fix this soon, since we now have to call almost everyday. Depending on the room, you can hear some noise from the street. Breakfast was good. We paid 200 euro per room and now we have to wait to get our money back. Is not professional how this is going.
