This place is a hidden gem! Amazing beachfront location and less than a 10 minute walk to the downtown Tamarindo area. The staff was beyond helpful in booking tours and transportation. The hotel is small and quiet which is nice for a chill vibe. There are beach chairs out front and surfboards to rent. Continental breakfast was provided every morning with fresh fruit and banana bread. We saw a monkey, iguana, lizards, and birds from our beachfront cottage! Highly recommend for a small group looking for a relaxing place to stay. There is no bar/restaurant on site which is something to consider.

We stayed here for 3 nights while travelling across Costa Rica. Tamarindo is a very busy town so the location of this hotel is perfect at about a 5 minute walk from all the action. We stayed in one of the Bungalows which was absolutely perfect. Beach is beautiful, pool is excellent, service is fantastic and breakfast was a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Exceptional all round!! I don’t think the photos even do this place justice! We had a Junior suit overlooking at the pool. It was modern, clean, big comfy bed, fridge freezer and had a great area to cook your own food! Friendly staff and always happy to help. Breakfast brought to your room each morning at a time chosen was a great edition. We made use of the surf equipment (you can surf right outside the hotel!) And also beach beds! 24h security was very re assuring. The location (for us) was perfect. Very quiet and relaxed but 10mins walk down the beach or road to the centre on Tamarindo, best of both worlds! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we come back to Costa Rica!

We enjoyed our stay at The Coast. The location right on the beach is fabulous but a little away from the craziness of the main part of the Tamarindo beach. A 10 minute walk and you were within the more lively part of town. The property was immaculately clean and well kept. 24 hour security made it feel very safe. Staff was very friendly. Room was nothing fancy but it was spacious and clean and we slept well. Complimentary breakfast in the morning delivered to the room was nice. The beach area was very nice and watching monkeys and parrots meanwhile you enjoy the beach was really fun. Definitely recommend for a stay in Tamarindo.

Hola, It was our first time in Costa Rica, we were there for our vacation and we stayed for a week. The Hotel provided transportation to and from the airport (at a fee) but was very reasonably and safe. The staff upon arrival was super great and very helped with our every need. Shout out to the two Stephanie's at the front desk those were our go to girls. The beach was indescribably beautiful and the sunsets were as well. The waves were perfect for surfing and Carlos helped me select the perfect board, Thanks Carlos! All the restaurants and shops are easily accessible by street or by beach and all within a ten minute walk which is awesome. I would highly recommend The Coast Beachfront Hotel and would stay here again. Also spend the extra money for the bungalow it was definitely worth it. I find awesome getaways by reading the reviews so I hope this one was helpful because it was truly a super great week in Costa Rica!!
