Amazing hotel. Location is without doubt THE best attribute. All the staff are very welcoming!! Plus you have the choice of 2 bars - a rooftop bar (best views) and the underground cocktail bar (superb cocktails)

Positives first: great view, clean place. Negatives: I would say this has been THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE in my entire life! Completely rude staff, felt like they were doing you a favor. Food was regular. A table next to us wanted to remove their tip from their check and one of the servers told her that "it was impossible because her food and drinks were fine, so they had no other choice". We thought it was a prank at first, but no...

We have throughly enjoyed our time here. The staff has been wonderful, welcoming and helpful. We ate at both the restaurant and the terrace bar. We were quite happy with them. Our room was unique and full of character. The location couldn't be improved upon. Right in the heart of the beautiful Old Town! This is a great hotel, full of history and enchantment.

The Prince's Hotel - This former palace is a very posh hotel, and the location can't be beat. Both the main hotel and the apartments are directly on the square. If you can get the Stone Room (pictured here), take it. The second image is the view from one of the apartments. We had the Stone Room Suite in the main hotel and an apartment. The third image is of the astronomical clock which greets you as you walk out the hotel door. Both were very quiet spaces, which was remarkable, given that the UEFA Final was happening, and there were thousands of people partying in the square through the night. The main hotel is really a world apart. The stone room is luxurious and historic. Just tremendous. The only drawbacks are standard to most European rooms: the need for a physical key to unlock rooms in order to get out, which is a fire hazard; the paucity of electrical outlets; and the bathrooms could use more counter space. Overall, this is one of the nicest hotels where I have ever had the pleasure to stay. It is a destination in its own right.

The attitude of the gatekeeper and the waiter especially the one who receives the money from the customer was the worst waiter I have ever met in my entire life. “Tip” is what customer decide to pay or not, not the waiter. Even though the tip culture varies per country, this shouldn’t be forced. I was very satisfied with the entire service until that man approached with the receipt and saying this is my price, the one with “tip included”. If he have ever said any word prior to that, such as “How was our service? Have you enjoyed it? There is two option for the payment.”, I would definitely pay the tip for the waitress. But the way he said? I believe he need to be trained what service is. Even though this place is very close to the clock, I would never visit here again, and I would not recommend to any of my friends across the world.
