This was the third time we stayed at Villa Emilia, and my husband and I always have a wonderful time. The staff is amazing and they do what they can to make our stay even better. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. And the hotel is very well located, close to public transportation, we always catch the bus A1 from the airport and it’s a few minutes walk so it’s really convenient. The subway it’s 1 block away and the neighborhood it’s very safe and has good restaurants and tapas bars around. Speaking of restaurants the breakfast and the food at the hotel is really good and not too expensive. This is without a doubt our hotel when we travel to Barcelona. We highly recommend. Nice hotel, warm interiors and great breakfast. The only thing missing is a kettle in the room not everyone stays prefers to drink cold water all the time. Would recommend the hotel management to look into it. Also, keep a press to steam/ iron. Fantastic interiors and very helpful staff. One thing I noticed is the drop in the Internet connection quite often. Please look into this as well. Plenty of options around to eat!

The hotel is nice, staff are friendly & helpful. But there was a general problem with water on the 2nd night. We called & a front desk staff came & said there was no problem, just a setting with the shower head. OK but then the problem persisted. I called front desk again and she sounded frustrated with me. She called later & said there was a general problem. No water for all rooms. WHAT? Not something any hotel guest should experience.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days before our cruise recently. What a great hotel. Very friendly staff, nice bar/restaurant downstairs for lunch and rooftop for dinner-(cooked right there). Great location in Barcelona. Nice coffee shop right across the street and great tapas restaurant across the street also. Small grocery type markets for anything you need nearby. When we come back to Barcelona, we will definitely stay here! Si! Pour Favor!
