Caution: Fraudulent Activities at This Hotel I recently had an unsettling experience at this establishment that I feel compelled to share. I had reserved a one-night stay at this hotel via Expedia, with my credit card charged accordingly. However, upon arriving at the front desk, a staff member named Guilermo informed me that I needed to pay for the night's accommodation once more. This took me by surprise, as I had confirmation from Expedia showing the payment had been made in full. I showed Guilermo the email from Expedia, confirming the payment had already been processed, but he persisted in asserting that I had not paid and insisted on an additional payment to proceed with check-in. To support his stance, he presented a screenshot indicating "collect payment at the hotel." Reluctantly, I made the additional payment. When I requested an itemized receipt, I was told one could not be provided. Determined to clarify the situation, I asked to capture a screenshot of the computer screen displaying the "collect payment at the hotel" message. After I paid again and checked in, I reviewed the screenshot, and to my astonishment, I discovered that the name on the screen did not match mine; it belonged to a different individual. Frustrated and understandably concerned, I returned to the front desk to request a refund, as the hotel had clearly made an error in billing. They acknowledged their mistake, but regrettably, their debit/credit payment machine was allegedly out of order, rendering them unable to provide a refund at that time. Even though they acknowledged the error, it has been an ongoing struggle to secure a refund. To this day, I have not received my money back. This situation raises serious concerns about the hotel's billing practices, and it warrants an investigation by Expedia. The experience left me questioning the hotel's integrity, and I strongly recommend caution when considering a stay here.

We booked this place at the last minute. It was cheap and cheerful. The best thing about it was that it clean, and they had really good breakfast that was included in the rate. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy, but very good value for money.
