Not touristy enough. Felt misunderstood. But they were very warm. It gave me a good impression of Bordeaux. Loo paper had run out in room which is probably normal for budget hotel. Otherwise 10/10. Seating area outside door which at first freaked me out because of cultural differences but then I saw how people could sit and wait there peacefully if they had to. Good idea for those waiting for their room

When I solo travel to cities, I always stay with Hotel F1. I personally love their American 60s decor. Great value for price. Good breakfast buffet. However the room I stayed in this Bordeaux branch was smaller compared to other branches. There was no table, and a bit far from public transportation.

I stayed in this hotel when I was in Bordeaux for 4 days. I didn't expect much, since It was a budget option. Rooms are nothing special, there are just some necessary facilities - bed, nightstand/table, sink and TV. No wardrobe, restrooms and bathrooms are shared on the floor. But the staff working there is really kind and helpful. I didn't face any kind of rudeness or unwillingness. The biggest problem is that it's far away from the city center. But as a person who loves to stroll and go out, it wasn't a big deal for me. But I wouldn't recommend it for families with little children or elders.
