During a family trip we needed to book a couple of rooms with different types of beds and different check in dates. After reaching out to other hotels we came across Clairefontaine. They did a super-efficient job adapting to our needs, carefully listened to what we needed and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I would 100% recommend this hotel for their kind and friendly staff, very nice rooms (they do look like those in the pictures) and the location close to metro stations and restaurants in Rue Daguerre.

Great little rooms with electric jug. Can be a bit noisy, not so much from the quiet street but other customers.

This is a small hotel close to main Paris Cemetary. Initially it appears to be in the back of beyond and why would anyone stay there? The rooms are a nice size, each with their own air conditioning unit. The first two floors have rooms that overlook a central court and the third floor have windows looking into the street. This is not a hotel to book with if you are not mobile. To reach the rooms you have to climb stairs, no lift. The rooms are made up each day and they certainly know how to tuck and fold a duvet on the bed, giving that fresh feeling when climbing into bed after a weary day. The rooms we had, included an ensuite with toilet and shower cabinet. The shower has a good hot water supply and was welcomed after a long day's walk. The hotel also offer breakfast, delivered to your door around 7am. However we did not partake of breakfast. Turn left out of the hotel and within a minute you'll be in a quaint french bakery. Offering all types of food to make your mouth water! Location, was actually well placed, the road is named after a famous mathematician and the area is quiet, not too many cars or loud people. Just 10 minutes walk gets you to either the station that would take you to Versaille or the other station that takes you to Gare du Nord. Similarly the No.38 bus which would take to the the stations in the North, plus Notre Dame. Alternatively in the other direction a number 92 that would take you to Arch de Triomphe or towards the Champs de Mar for that famous tower!. So all in all a good hotel.
