Ok .no bed bugs so far. Big room. Small washroom Quiet and clean. Will recommend budget considerations. Very neat the train central . Near most restaurants. Warm receptionist.

Checked in late, past midnight. The person at the desk was useless and not professional at all. Gave us the room keys on the 3rd floor, just to realize that the room has been open for god knows how long. The interesting part is that the door was kept open using a face towel. I had to stay around Montparnasse, which is an excellent area, to take a train the next day after a long flight. As other reviews mention the room did smell, perhaps that's why the door was kept open. Or perhaps the person at the desk was napping on our bed after taking a dump - won't be surprised! To be honest, I wasn't even comfortable looking at what was underneath the bed. In any case, pay the extra $50 and get a "normal" hotel without potential corpses underneath the bed. Perhaps sleeping at the train station wouldn't have been a worse experience after all!

I rented here for 1 night because I wanted to extend my trip in Paris. Staying here was a complete mistake. The rooms smell like mold, decay and roach spray. I can barely breathe. I went out for fête de la musique (Festival of Music), come back to my room to find it covered in roaches. I take pictures and show the downstairs clerk. He tells me there's nothing he can do but give me bug spray. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. If you're like me, you're looking at this place because it's €20-60 less than other hotels. Trust me when I say, PAY THE EXTRA MONEY. Learn from my horrible horrible mistake. This place charges premiums for unlivable loving quarters. This should be a crime and these rooms should be pulled from the market. Paris is an amazing city and Montparnasse is a great neighborhood but not this hotel is not worth the cost.

Terrible place, hard to believe they can keep calling it hotel and 3 stars. We booked for a business trip 5 different bedrooms and had to leave right away as the rooms were in deplorable condition. Carpets, bathrooms and beds dirty. The scarce furniture, bedheads and wallpaper torn, broken or stained. Bathrooms with mildew, humidity around the windows. Paint in hallways falling apart. Definitively not suited for a pleasant stay. Hotel staff did not offer any solution to change rooms so we had to leave and find another place.

Expecting a small room but with the sofa bed made up for our children you couldn't move around it or close the adjoining door. Clean and quite modern. Unfortunately the smell in the room wasn't helped by the air-con as it was coming up from the drains and we had to keep the bathroom door shut to keep the smell in. Price was quite high when we booked, but on the day it was much lower. No refunds for the difference. Would not stay here again but would suit singles/couples who are traveling on a budget as the location is convenient for Montparnasse. Just don't book in advance!
