If you are looking for a hotel that is not too expensive and in a good location than this is a good choice. It is not the most up to date and the rooms aren't that large but you get what you pay for. The beds are comfy and I found the staff to be helpful and you are nice and near to good cafes and the Eiffel tower. And aside however is that when I came back one evening, I found the cleaner had moved all my personal possession. These were not in the way and tucked in on the shelves. Yes you have to clean but I found it somewhat alarming by items were moved around.

Great staff! Camel was very kind and helpful. You leave your key at reception when you go oit, so you don't need to worry about losing it. Location is perfect: 10 minute walk to the tower. Small room, but comfy bed, warm shower and very clean. I recommend.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - BOOK SOMETHING ELSE. Rooms are much smaller than presented on line. Noisy - you can hear everything that goes on - crying babies, adults arguing, doors opening and closing, people just walking around. Hotel is old - floors creak, doors to bathrooms don't work, broken night stands, comforter on beds all stained and should simply be burned. No English channels on really small TVs. Essentially, no toiletries provided. When we booked we were told breakfast was included at a nearby cafe - when asked how to redeem, we were told they no longer offer that. False advertising. They turned off the AC/Fan systems, so it was hot in all our rooms. We asked to have this addressed and were told to simply turn off the radiating heaters in the rooms - this did not help. We asked for fans, but they said no. Told us to open the windows but that was not an option due to allergies - they didn't care. Employees at the front desk were rude and not helpful. Argued and kept telling us to come back in the morning to talk the manager, but the manager was never there. Three of our rooms had 2 water bottles when we arrived. We booked a 4th because the rooms were so small and asked for water. They first told us they are only offered complimentary the first night, then changed the story and said they don't offer water and had no idea how the water got in the room. No accommodations outside the room - just a small sitting area with a few chairs. Each time we left the building they told us we had to leave the keys to the rooms so they wouldn't get lost of stolen. When we returned, there was often a different person at the desk. We simply asked for the room keys by room number. They handed them over without proof of identity - doesn't seem safe. Filed a formal complaint with Guest Reservations and Priceline, but they did nothing. Lots of other options close to the Eiffel Tower and Arc - no need to consider this hotel that is way past its prime.

We booked this hotel for our short stay in Paris in July. This boutique hotel is conveniently located a walk away from the Eiffel Tower and surrounded by everything you may need. Pharmacy, great eateries, and small shops. The neighborhood is quaint and charming and felt very safe. The hotel and room itself is small and charming. If you are from the states, its comparable to a NYC value boutique hotel. If you are looking for a hotel with amenities and things to do, this isnt a right fit. This hotel is perfect for a budget traveler that wants to stay central to the city and needs accommodations to sleep. The beds are smaller but comfortable. There isnt much closet space or sitting area. We stayed in the family suite that consisted of an area to itself that had three separate rooms, each with its own bathroom. This was very comfortable for a family of six! The only thing we found a little unusual since we are not accustomed to this, is when leaving your suite at anytime during your stay you are required to turn in your key to the front desk and can pick it up when you return. There is always someone manning the front desk, but my concern was that it wasn't always the same person. This was concerning because anyone can just come in and request a key to a room pretending they were staying there, if the shift changed and the front desk hasn't seen who is staying there, how do they know that is the actual guest? That was my only concern about this hotel. Other than that it was a comfortable and pleasant stay and will recommend it to anyone that is wanting to stay central and on a budget.
