I arrived late (23:15) and therefore the 24h reception was of great use. The person at the reception was very helpful with tips about where to find a place still open where to eat. In fact, there are lots of take away shops, restaurants and bars nearby, so, great location. The room was spacious, although having the bed on the mezzanine floor and the bathroom downstairs was not very convenient. I had coffee machine and kettle, a bottle of water and some snacks as gratuity in the room, which was good. I think they have made some effort to at least partly renovate/modernize the room but more remains to be done: the bathroom can be improved and some of the furniture too (a bit oldish). Overall, I had a good experience and it was OK for 1 night. The cost (200 euros) is in my opinion overpriced.

Parkings in the streets are scarce, the parking lot at 300m charges more than 30€ per day. Be aware that rooms on the street may be loud until late and from early in the morning. Apart from these negative points, fair price, tidy room and nice staff. Overall still recommended.

This hotel is within walking distance to Lyon Part-Dieu station and is in a very safe neighborhood. The area does not feel touristy, but nonetheless many shops and restaurants are nearby. I think it is the staff & manager mainly, that make this hotel special, though. They were very welcoming, proud of their city, and eager to send us to the best places in Lyon. They provided good advice on several aspects of our trip and I greatly appreciate their help.
