Great stylish hotel in a fantastic area. Chilled out simple atmosphere and fun design. Very comfortable room with all one needs. Overall fantastic value for money for Paris. I recommend and will be back!!

Hotel Equis by Elegance was a delightful hotel, one of the best we've stayed at in Paris or anywhere. The location was ideal, near two different metro stops and several bus lines and still in a safe, authentic neighborhood with restaurants, pharmacies and services. The design concept is bold and well-done. Tons of color and fun accent like copper-pipe lighting. The fairy lights in the bathroom grout delighted my teen (hard to delight a teen!). The rooms are European-small but plenty big enough. The beds are comfy. We stayed there twice, one room in the back where we had absolutely no street noise. The room in the front was still very quiet unless you had the windows open. The best thing about the property was the staff. They were very hospitable, allowed me to speak either French or English. (Sometimes the French will only speak English to Americans.) When I got sick, they insisted on arranging a car service to the airport for me, and I was very grateful. When there was a problem with my in-room safe, they had it replaced within the day. The 24-hour coffee/hot chocolate machine is a nice touch. The elevator is typical tiny, but I was grateful for it after a long trip. There is a nice full breakfast available, but there is a lovely boulangerie just two doors down if you want a lighter option or want to pick up a picnic. The property is super clean. In short, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location. The staff took care of everything and provided whatever we needed. The amenities were great, breakfast was plenty and price was comparable to other hotels nearby.

The bathroom was the star of the show (pun intended as there were little lights embedded in the wall of the bathroom that made it sparkle like stars in the night sky) - the shower was amazing with two shower heads! The soundproofing was also amazing - we didn't hear a peep from our neighbors or even the people walking around upstairs, so I had the best night's sleep in a while. It was clean and had fun decorations too! Also located right next to an amazing patisserie and many restaurants right down the street. Highly recommend. Also the a/c was really nice on a hot summers day!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Exquis: The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean, the bed very comfortable, there were always fresh croissants in the hotel lobby and a water dispenser was available to all guests 24/7. The hotel is well located and easy to reach by metro within only 20 minutes from Gare du Nord. The area is full of nice cafés and restaurants. Definitely recommend and I am sure I will stay at Hotel Exquis again myself.
