A fabulous GRAND Hotel now the best in Cannes. When I last stayed back in 2018, the hotel had been refurbished. It was most impressive. During my most recent stay a few weeks ago I was surprised at the exceptional level of service in every department. It was terrific back in 2018 however now it is off the scale in sheer excellence. I first stayed at the Martinez hotel back in 1976 and it was wonderful in those days. I have always felt that the only real competition was from the nearby Carlton Hotel which I also used to stay at and which I recently visited and I have to say that given the choice of both hotels, I would now only stay at the Martinez.

Needless to say, this hotel is located right on the beach. Walk across the street and you’re there by the water. Palm trees on the side walks. Conveniently located in the center of Cannes, easy access to all the high end shopping stores with walking distance . The guest service is superb. Everyone is always smiling when greeting you. The rooms are grand and beautiful decorated. Very modern with a touch of beach vibes. From the moment you walk into the check in area until to your room, your eyes will be amazed with how beautiful and grand it is. Exotic orchids are displayed in every corner of the hotel and a whole section for them. I am such a sucker for orchids so this is the place for me. Room service was quick and easy. I love the bathroom with a windown view inside the bathtub where you can look out to the beach . It was genius . Beautiful pieces of artwork are displayed all around the reception area. Beautiful restaurant/bar located on the first floor as well. I will be back the next time I am visiting.

Lovely modern hotel located right in front of the Cannes beach. I enjoyed my stay here. Even the city rooms have a good view. Breakfast is more than perfect. The buffet has many different pastries and desserts. There are also other dining options at the hotel. The staff and service is quite professional. Rooms are big and comfortable but showers need improvement.

Historical location and hotel with excellent service and amenities. The check in was very smooth and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony so my partner could smoke. (Very accommodating and thank you) The room was spacious, the king bed was very comfortable and the feather pillows were ready for us as I requested prior check-in. The concierge and porters are very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the heated pool nor the outdoor area but had a stroll and looked amazing and it would be a great slot to relax for the summer time. The turndown service was great and the housekeeping lady kindly provided me with extra bottles of still water. We chose to have our breakfast in the room that was excellent and convenient, also because the day before we had a quick drink in the Le Sud where the morning breakfast buffet was supposed to be but the slamming door between Le Sud and the outdoor area really annoyed us so much when we had quick drinks the day before so we didn't want to have our breakfast there. Overall, excellent all around and thank you.

There are many luxury hotels in the world but very few like Martinez. This is a place with so much history, a style that is unique. Cinema legends have stayed there. It’s ideally located in front of a gorgeous sand beach. Service is impeccable. Breakfast a dream. Rooms are comfortable, elegant. We had the most wonderfully stay as a family. We wish we could have stayed there forever. I had also been at Hôtel Martinez for work and had a superb stay as well.
